A SEASON OF THANKS

Are we truly thankful for what we have? I know that I don't thank the giver of all good things enough. I really love to stalk all the blogs that inspire me and "steal" so many ideas for my home, crafts or personal use. Will I stop blog stalking? Highly unlikely, but I know that I will be thankful just to have a home to decorate with my own personal style. So many people losing their homes, jobs, families and still managing to make a life and persevere throught the tough times. Just so I don't rush through to Christmas too soon, I just want to say THANK YOU, FATHER!

Thank you for my family even though I feel like committing murder everyday, thank you for my health (so far) I make a devoted promise to you to make sure I stay healthly as much as I can and most importantly thank you for my eternal home. I know that you are preparing that mansion and the beauty of that home will be a vision that will take my breath away.

THANK YOU, FATHER
from your undeserving child.

FIRST STENCIL PROJECT

As time goes by i'll be showing my furniture transformations. I am not a professional and you'll see that but it makes me happy and it makes my home one of a kind. The picture below is the top of one of my coffee tables that in a former life was a light oak stain. It was nice but not me. Sooooo, a while back I decided to do something about it and this is how the top looks now. The legs are still in progress and i'll show those later. (Several furniture projects going on at once.) I am happy with the way it came out considering that I am such a rookie.

Not a great picture but you get the idea.

BLESSINGS,
Lisa

DECORATING WITH GOD!

Over the weekend I was at Holmes County State Park with the family for my Dad's 74th birthday. I couldn't help but admire God's work when it comes to the beauty of nature. I hope you enjoy these photos taken with a not so good camera but wonderful none the less.

God Bless,
Lisa
